The Kippah

Toby loves wearing his kippah every Friday evening for Shabbat, since it covers up his bald spot.

kippah (literally: dome) is the Hebrew word for skullcap, also referred to in Yiddish as a yarmulke. Jewish law requires men to cover their heads as a sign of respect and reverence for God when praying, studying Torah, saying a blessing or entering a synagogue.

As a guest at Riegan and Toby’s wedding, you’ll receive a special kippah to remember the event. Men will be asked to wear this upon entering the ceremony. But you know, if you like the way it looks go ahead and keep it on!
