Sheva Berakhot (Seven Blessings)
translation by Rabbi Nadav Caine
  1. 1.

Blessed are You, our God, whose presence is the universe, creator of the fruit of the vine.

  2. 2.

Blessed are You, our God, whose presence is the universe, who created everything as a reflection of the divine.

  3. 3.

Blessed are You, our God, whose presence is the universe, who fashioned humanity.

  4. 4.

Blessed are You, our God, whose presence is the universe, who fashioned humanity in a divine image and endowed us with a power and pattern forever.

  5. 5.

May all who are sad come alive with our celebrating these two beloveds.

  6. 6.

May you grant supreme happiness to these two beloveds, giving them a taste of the contentment of the Garden of Eden.  You bring that special happiness to a groom and a bride.

  7. 7.

Blessed are You, our God, whose presence is the universe, who created joy and happiness, bride and groom, celebration, singing, delight and cheer, love and friendship, harmony and companionship.  May there ever be heard in every city the sounds of joy and happiness, the sounds of bride and groom, the sounds of rejoicing at weddings and wedding feasts.  You, source of all blessings, who brings bride and groom to delight in one another.
